The Department of Science and Humanity at MVPS’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic, Nashik organized a Poster Competition on 9 January 2026. The competition was conducted as an academic enrichment activity to motivate students to present subject‑related themes in a creative and informative manner. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from first‑year diploma students, who displayed innovative ideas through colorful and well‑designed posters. Students prepared and presented posters based on given themes. The posters were evaluated on the basis of creativity, basic knowledge, real life application, presentation skills i.e. oral explanation, and overall impact. Faculty members assessed the posters and guided students during the activity.

The Poster Competition provided a platform for students to visually communicate concepts related to their academic subjects and socially relevant topics. Students prepared posters highlighting key ideas, facts, and messages using charts, drawings, and concise explanations. The competition created an engaging and intellectually stimulating environment within the campus.

         MVPS’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic, Nashik -Department of Science & Humanity, has conducted Poster Competition for First Year Students on 9 January 2026. This event was Co-ordinated by Ms. S. D. Rayate under the guidance of Mr. T. K. Thange (HOD-SH)  and  Prof. Prashant Patil (Principal).

A Technical Paper presentation was held at NDMVP’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic , Nashik. The Paper Presentation Competition aims to accentuate analysis-based research work in students, develop their ability to bring out their ingenious selves, and gain expertise on the topics to enhance their knowledge and learning. This competition held on 06/01/2026 at12.45pm to 03.00pm in the Seminar Hall This competition was organized for all first year students. Students were participating as single participant and also in pair. As judge Mrs. A.G.Chine plays vital role in the competition. She gives some tips to improve presentation skills.

             Overall, as Technical Paper Presentation aims to accentuate analysis-based research work in students, develop their ability to bring out their ingenious selves, and gain expertise on the topics to enhance their knowledge and learning and also students get knowledge about the importance of presentation skills, body language, eye contact and audience feedback while presentation from this activity we achieved it clearly.

For First Year New syllabus was designed which is based on NEP-2020. These new K-scheme one new Social and Life Skills course was introduced in that course different modules are added. Guest Lecture on “Financial Literacy” arranged by Department of Science and Humanity Program was Introduction of Financial Literacy and their Importance as well as Advantages. This Guest Lecture scheduled on 3^rd  Jan. 2026 and the timing was 09:00 am to 10:00 am Mrs. Gauri Geet (Trainer) explained how invest money for future and also explained what is need to invest money . Gauri geet maam also monitoring young minds to acquire new skills and knowledge Question & Answer session was held and the students asked about all the doubts and were answered accordingly.

Guest Lecture was organized on “Financial Literacy” for First years students who registered for Financial literacy module to enhance and focus on Financial investment, Future planning. It was delivered by Mrs. Gauri Geet (Trainer of Financial Literacy Mission). The event was coordinated by Mrs. S. N. Gangurde

On 30/12/2025, Guest Lecture on “Constitution Day” has been conducted. Constitution Day is also known as ‘Sanvidhan Divas’, it is celebrated in our country on 26^th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. The Program was defined to understand “Judicial Contribution of Right to Life”.  It was organized by Prof. V.R.Bagdane Science and Humanity department. The program scheduled on 30/12/2025 and the timing was 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Prof. Ballal sir has explained about how the constitution of India was formed. He also informed that Fundamental rights of human being in social life & Professional life also. Its importance and also advised how to implement it into our lives.

It was really wonderful session, students participated enthusiastically. Question & Answer session was held. Overall, the Guest lecture on the “Constitution Day” was effectively celebrated by Science and Humanity department. Students learnt awareness of constitutional values, Rights and Duties, and importance of national unity. The program was celebrated under the guidance of Mr.T.K.Thange (HOD-SH) and Prof .Prashant Patil (Principal) .

            The Department of Science and Humanity at MVPS’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic, Nashik, celebrated National Mathematics Day in honors of the legendary Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan with great enthusiasm and active student participation. The event aimed to promote logical thinking, creativity, and appreciation for the beauty of mathematics among first-year diploma students. The celebration featured three major competitions designed to engage students with mathematics in diverse and interactive ways. These activities created a vibrant environment where students could showcase both their intellectual abilities and creative skills.

Activities conducted

• Quiz Competition: Focused on testing students’ speed, accuracy, and logical precision through thought‑provoking mathematical questions.
• Poster Competition: Encouraged students to present mathematical ideas artistically, blending visual creativity with core mathematical themes.
• Mathematics Model Competition: Enabled students to bring abstract mathematical concepts to life through innovative and practical models.

The program was successfully organized under the visionary guidance of Principal Prof. Prashant Patil and Mr. T. K. Thange, Head of Department, Science and Humanity. Their support ensured that the event aligned with the academic objectives of the institution while inspiring students to engage deeply with  mathematics.

The event proved to be highly beneficial for the students. To strengthen the academic culture of the college by integrating commemorative days with meaningful academic activities rather than only ceremonial functions. The Department expressed gratitude to the resource person, management, faculty, and students for making the event a memorable and meaningful learning experience.

A Poster Making Competition was held at NDMVP’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic in Nashik on date 07/10/2025 which is organized by Science and Humanity Department. All first-year students from computer Technology, Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, Information Technology and Electronics and telecommunication and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning department were participate in this project. For this competition we gave 12^th topic for Poster Making to students. In which some are based on communication skills, Mathematics, Science and general awareness. As per instructed to students very creatively and effectively poster making competition enjoyed by the students. All Science and Humanity department Staff help the students in poster making competition and all class coordinator encourage to students for participation.

Overall, the Poster making Competition was effectively held in Science and Humanity department in which students showcase their creativity and effective presentation through the poster making Competition under the guidance of all science and Humanity Teaching and non-Teaching staff.

The Department of Science & Humanity of MVPS’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic, Nashik organized a guest lecture for the First Year students of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Computer Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics & Communication Engineering on the topic “Behavioral Skills”. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of developing interpersonal and behavioral skills along with technical knowledge to excel in their academic and professional careers. The guest lecture proved to be highly beneficial for the students. It not only highlighted the significance of behavioral skills but also motivated them to adopt positive professional practices for a successful future. The Department expressed gratitude to the resource person, management, faculty, and students for making the event a memorable and meaningful learning experience The event was successfully organized by Ms. S. P. Telore under the able guidance of Mr. T. K. Thange (Head of Department – Science and Humanity) and Prof. Prashant Patil (Principal). Their constant support and encouragement contributed to the smooth execution of the program.

   MVPS’s Rajarshi Shahu Mharaj Polytechnic, Nashik organized a guest lecture on Communicable Disease and Personal Hygiene to create awareness and educate students about this important health issue. Which is delivered by Dr. Balaji Almale lecturer in Community Medicine department at MVPS’s Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College and Research Center in Adgaon, Nashik, He shared valuable insights on Communicable Disease and Personal Hygiene during the event. At the beginning of the lecture Ms. V. R. Bagdane Felicitated Dr Balaji Almale at that time HOD of Science and Humanity Department and all faculties were present. This lecture attained by all students of first year. Students actively participated in the interactive session, raising queries about recent health challenges and preventive measures. The speaker emphasized that small lifestyle changes and awareness can go a long way in reducing the risks of infection and ensuring a healthy society.

The event was highly informative and created a sense of responsibility among students to adopt  hygienic practices and spread awareness in their communities. The session was highly interactive, with students asking questions related to recent health issues and preventive strategies. The resource person encouraged students to become health ambassadors in their families and communities by spreading awareness.  The program received an excellent response from the participants. It not only enhanced their knowledge but also motivated them to adopt healthy habits in their daily lives. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Ms. S. P Telore, appreciating the efforts of the speaker and organizers.

MVPS’s Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Polytechnic Nashik’s “Training and Placement Cell” successfully hosted an insightful expert session on “Developing Personality and Communication Skills” for all Second Year students of Electrical Engineering. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering on 24th September 2025 In her session, Ms. Shilpa Bhende emphasized the significance of personality development as a key factor in personal and professional success. She explained that a well-rounded personality not only boosts confidence but also enhances interpersonal relationships and communication skills.
